BellyBelt Combo Kit from Fertile Mind - The Ultimate Maternity Wear Solution!

Fertile Mind LogoLet's face it, when you are pregnant, your wardrobe choices can be limited. (Well, that is unless you have an unlimited budget.) When I was pregnant with Princess P, I really didn't began to show until the last of winter (around March), so I didn't want to purchase maternity jeans just so I could wear them a month or two and then transition over to shorts. Oh, how I wish I would have known about the BellyBelt Combo Kit from Fertile Mind, then!
Belly Belt CoverThe BellyBelt Combo Kit from Fertile Mind adapts to regular jeans and pants so you can get maximum use from items that you already have. The BellyBelt Combo Kit consists of 2 sizes of BellyBelt button ups and slides and 3 fabric cover-ups (in black, denim and white) to coordinate with your wardrobe. The BellyBelt Combo Kit is the perfect solution for early pregnancy, later pregnancy and even post-baby!
Photobucket
Fertile Mind generously sent me the BellyBelt Combo Kit to review and I have to admit, I was anxious to see just how well it worked. When it first arrived, I wasted no time trying out the small belt button-up (ideal for early pregnancy and when you need a little wiggle room after baby) and was surprised at how easy it was to use. Simply attach the button on your jeans to the BellyBelt and place the button of your choice (on the BellyBelt) through the button hole on your jeans. Super easy!
Photobucket
For later pregnancy, use the larger belt and choose a fabric cover-up that coordinates with your pants or skirt. Then, slide the fabric cover-up onto the BellyBelt and attach it the same way you would the small belt. After tucking the fabric cover-up into your pants (Which didn't leave my jeans bulky like I first imagined.), you are ready to go! The BellyBelt panels keep you covered (and comfortable!) no matter how small your pre-pregnancy pants may be. Plus, you can create an extra large belt by simply joining two belts together!
Belly Belt Combo KitThe BellyBelt Combo Kit from Fertile Mind is simply genius and I only wish that I had had it when I was pregnant with Princess P! Not only are you able to wear pre-pregnancy pants and skirts that you love, but you are also not having to shell out extra money for maternity jeans, pants and skirts. I recommend the BellyBelt Combo Kit from Fertile Mind to any expecting mama out there!

Buy It: You can purchase the BellyBelt Combo Kit at www.fertilemind.com.au for $26.84

A big thank you to Fertile Mind for this review opportunity!

OKA b. ~ Shoes that Love You *Review + Giveaway*

OKA b. Logo
During the summer, you will catch me in nothing but sandals and flip-flops! In fact, I usually sport them during the spring and fall months, too. I just love the easy, carefree feeling that you have when wearing them. Plus, flip-flops usually go with everything in your closet! However, I have noticed that with some sandals, comfort is scarified for the style. And to me, that is a big issue. No one wants an uncomfortable pair of shoes!
OKA b. KathleenAt OKA b., fashion and comfort go hand in hand. Their line of shoes are designed to look great with every outfit and feel even better on. Each pair of shoes from OKA b. feature an ergonomic footbed enhanced with massage beads to pamper your feet with every step. And with a diverse color palette and a style selection that is sure to match any and every outfit in your closet (including your wedding gown!), OKA b. will quickly become your new favorite place to shop for sandals!

OKA b. began with two basic styles - a slide and a thong, designed to feel like a spa shoe by integrating principles of reflexology and ergonomics. Today, the line has expanded to include dozens of styles and colors adorned with natural seashell, gemstones and ribbon, without compromising on comfort. Plus, each pair of shoes from OKA b. feature a one–piece construction for superior durability and comfort and are made of a non–absorbent material that resists the growth of mildew, fungus and bacteria.
Photobucket
To add a touch of romance to my summer attire, OKA b. recently sent me the Kathleen sandals in the copper color with pink flowers. These pretty thong-style sandals feature two coordinating silk and chiffon rosettes on each shoe that are asymmetrically placed to add contrast and style. For a bit of elegance, the Kathleen sandals have a 1 3/4" heel that allows you to wear them casually during the day or for a fun and flirty night out on the town. And since they feature a massaging footbed, a lightweight design and flexible style, you will be able to wear these sandals comfortably all day and night!

When the Kathleen sandals from OKA b. arrived, I immediately commented on how pretty they were. Their copper color and pink rosettes definitely make them stand out and are much prettier than my other brown sandals. Also, another thing that I first noticed, was how flexible they are. I can literally bend them in all different directions! Of course, this just adds to their already comfortable style.
Photobucket
When wearing the Kathleen sandals, I can feel the massaging footbeds and they happen to be a treat for my feet. Also, the lightweight design and flexible style makes walking in them super easy. I really also appreciate that these sandals feature a non-slip and non-marking sole, perfect for those slippery, wet surfaces (think summer showers!). The only real issue I have had with these sandals is that the smaller rosette is starting to fray around the edges (I think they are made to be a bit frayed, though.) quite a bit. Its not a huge deal, but is something to keep in mind. Other than that, the Kathleen sandals from OKA b. have definitely added a touch of elegance and romance to my normally boring summer outfits and have really been a delight for my feet!

affresh Washer Cleaner ~ Eliminates Washing Machine Odor at the Source

Washer Cleaner LogoHave you ever thought about washing your washing machine? Well, if you have, you are one step ahead of me! I don't know why, but I have never thought to clean out my washing machine. It just never dawned on me that I need to wash something that is used to wash things!

In the past, I have noticed a smell coming from my washing machine, but I just chalked it up to leaving a load of clothes in there too long. Also, I have noticed that when I do a big load of laundry, there is a smell that I cannot seem to ever get off. But, again, I just thought that was because it was too big of a load and the items did not get all the way clean or I just left it in there too long. Now, I know that the stench was actually coming from the washing machine itself!

Like soap scum builds up in your bath tub or shower over time, so does dirt and residue in your washer, especially in hard-to-reach places. This build-up can result in odor, mold or mildew in your washing machine if left untreated. HE washers can even be more susceptible to residue build-up due to their tightly designed seals and low water usage.
Washer Cleaneraffresh Washer Cleaner was designed to help penetrate, dissolve, remove or reduce odor-causing residue from all washing machines. The Power Puck tablet, equipped with oxygenating action, penetrates and lifts residue in places where you can't reach, like the tub, hoses and pumps, and cleans mold and mildew stains throughout. Use affresh Washer cleaner once a month to keep your washing machine smelling (and looking!) great!

Stay tuned for my next post on affresh Washer Cleaner to hear about the Power Puck tablets in action!

“I wrote this review while participating in a campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of affresh and received product samples and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.”

The New Lamaze Tummy Time Air from Learning Curve Makes Tummy Time Fun and Comfortable (Review & Giveaway)

Lamaze LogoWhile tummy time plays an important role in newborn upper-body strength development, not all babies enjoy it. A lot of newborns do not like to be placed flat on their tummy's, whether it be because it's uncomfortable for them (due to medical reasons) or because they dislike being on their stomachs, but it is still an important phase in their development.
Tummy Time AirThe new Lamaze Tummy Time Air from Learning Curve offers a more comfortable solution to tummy time. This fun activity mat features bright colors and fun shapes for baby to focus on, thus stimulating healthy eye development, and an innovative tummy section that adapts to baby's body and evenly distributes their torso weight, therefore minimizing the pressure on baby's abdomen.

To keep baby occupied during tummy time, the Lamaze Tummy Time Air has two different ends that feature fun, engaging farm scenes for baby to look at. In addition to it's two-play sides, this tummy time activity gym also features stimulating crinkle corn, a tractor teether, additional loops for other toys (all located on the tummy section) and a sun shaped mirror for self-discovery.
Photobucket
Learning Curve generously sent me the Lamaze Tummy Time Air for review. Upon arrival, I was relieved to find it required no assembly and that when you pulled it out of the box, it was ready to go! Also, I really like the fun, colorful scenes featured on the mat and the additional toys on the tummy section. Plus, the fact that the mesh on the tummy section is cow print, makes this activity gym even more adorable! The soft, washable fabric mat is also a terrific feature!

When Princess P was a baby, we used to place her on a blanket, surrounded in toys, and get on it with her to play. After a few minutes, she would be over the whole "tummy time" thing and either roll over or cry until we picked her up. With this activity gym, I believe that she would play on it for awhile before wanting up, thanks to the mesh tummy section and the toys attached to it. Plus, I think that it would be much more comfortable for her because she would not be lying flat on her tummy. Since I am just guessing at how she would do on the mat (since she clearly isn't a baby anymore), I searched the internet for reviews and was delighted to see how well received this tummy time mat is. The Lamaze Tummy Time Air from Learning Curve will definitely be save for our next baby to use and I cannot wait to see how he or she does on it.
