Hatley ~ Fun Summer Styles for the Entire Family (Review & Giveaway)

A couple of years ago, I was introduced to Hatley and it has been pure love ever since. Their unique nature and wildlife inspired apparel collections are full of color and fun. The tank features a twisted halter back, a fun flower print on the front and colorful embroidered detailing. The 100% cotton jersey shorts have an overall striped print, front pockets with embroidered detailing, a faux tie at the front and also feature an elastic waist for easy on and off.
I have to admit, this play set has become a favorite of Princess P's because she wants to wear it at least once a week! And of course, I have no problem with that because it is super cute and comfortable. So far, I have washed the Surfer Girl Girl's Short Set from Hatley at least four times and it has shown no signs of fading or wear! I also really like the way the set looks, especially the twisted halter back, and how it fits Princess P.

Along with their Play Sets, I really adore Hatley's line of girl's rain gear and women's sleepshirts. I just know that Princess P would love to splash and play in the rain with the Spring Song Kid's Rain Boots! Plus, I could see myself lounging around on these hot summer days in the Some Like It Hot Women's Sleepshirt!

Celebrate Summer with Plow & Hearth (Review & Giveaway)

In our family, summer means spending an abundant amount of time outdoors. Whether we are playing outside with Princess P, lounging by the river or working in our flower beds, we are outside soaking up the warm weather and enjoying nature. However, since most days are spent outside, our back deck seems to collect all of the clutter that follows us outdoors.
Several weeks ago, as we were all out on the back deck, I realized that we needed an outdoor storage solution that would not only house some of our items, but also be resistant to weather. When the Small Storage Box arrived, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the assembly was (it literally just snaps together) and how fast it was out on our back deck being used. All we had to do was throw on the toss pillow and we had a functional storage box with extra seating for our guests!

Also, the storage box features a maintenance-free resign that will provide you with years of use. Little did we know that she would absolutely love it and that it would become a lifesaver for times when I needed to get things done. The only issue I had with the bouncer, is that the toy bar seems a bit close to the headrest. But, I'm sure after baby sits in the bouncer a time or two, that will not be a problem. MIA...Again (and Giveaway Update)

Well, as you may have noticed, I haven't been around much. We went out of town last week and I had all of my posts planned, but I had limited internet access and I wasn't able to post at all. And on top of that, I have lost my camera that had all of my review pictures on it plus all of our family pictures, including the one's from Princess P's third birthday party. Needless to say, I am pretty heartbroken and upset over that!

Also, since I didn't have internet access, I was unable to close a couple of giveaways on their end date and I have noticed that several people are still entering them. Just in time for the 4th of July (and Princess P's third birthday pictures), My Baby Clothes Boutique sent us the Bonnie Jean Gingham Flower Fourth of July Dress and Large Red Bow to review. This patriotic sundress features red gingham material and is trimmed at the neck and skirt with pretty blue and white ruffles. However, the back of the dress is the most special! It features a bright red rectangle, that is reminiscent of the American flag, and a navy blue flower with a button center. Also, at the bottom right and left shoulder, there are two red bows with white polka dots that really make this dress super adorable.

When the Bonnie Jean Gingham Flower Fourth of July Dress and Large Red Bow from My Baby Clothes Boutique arrived, I just knew that Princess P had to wear them in one of her birthday pictures (since we are so close to the 4th of July holiday). The dress is simply adorable and fits Princess P perfect. I love how the dress looks on her and the back is just too precious for words. Also, even though the bow might be a little big for some of you, I absolutely adore it and it matches the dress perfectly!
The pictures ended up turning out great and I spent way too much money and everyone in the studio loved her dress! They actually had an American flag background that matched perfectly and the end result was some seriously cute photos. Plus, they were running a special for father's day that came with a personalized portrait that read "My Dad, My Hero" and since C was in the Air Force, the dress and American flag background couldn't have turned out better!
