"The #1 New York Times bestseller by Kathryn Stockett comes to vivid life through the compelling performances of a phenomenal ensemble cast including Emma Stone, Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer and Bryce Dallas Howard. The Help is a courageous and empowering story about very different and extraordinary women in the 1960s South who build an unlikely friendship around a secret writing project."When I wasn't able to get to the theaters this summer to watch The Help, I was definitely bummed that I didn't get to see this wonderful film that everyone kept raving about. So, when I was given the chance to review The Help on Blu-ray Combo Pack, I jumped at the chance!
When I watched The Help for the first time, I sat in one spot throughout the entire movie and I don't think I moved once, which is unusual for me! I was so captivated by the storyline that I could not miss one minute! When watching The Help, I found myself laughing, crying and being in complete disbelief right along with the cast. This is a timeless and triumphant story that will not soon be forgotten! The Help would make a terrific gift this holiday season!
