In my opinion, purchasing feeding products for your little one can be tricky business. At first, you may be drawn to certain items because of the look and inexpensive price tag, but that doesn't always mean your baby or toddler will fell the same way. With so many new and innovative baby and toddler products hitting the market today, its hard to tell which ones are really worth the investment and which ones fall short.
Recently, we were sent a variety of
mOmma feeding products to review. Upon seeing the products for the first time, I was instantly drawn to the stylish look and unique design of the items. But, of course, that didn't necessarily mean that Princess P was instantly going to take to the products and begin using them right away.

The first product I handed Princess P to try was the
mOmma Non-Spill Cup ($13.25). This dual-handed cup is designed especially for baby's small hands. After handing the cup to Princess P, she examined it for a minute and then drank all of her juice right down to the last drop. Also, to eliminate the fear of touching unsanitary surfaces, the cup remains upright thanks to its rounded bottom. The Non-Spill Cup has an age recommendation of 6 months+, making it a great choice for baby's first sippy cup.

For lunch, I decided to break out the
mOmma Developmental Warm Meal Set ($22.00), that includes a warming plate, spoon and fork. This meal set works with your baby to increase motor skills and enjoy feeding time. The rounded design of the spoon and fork are made to fit perfectly into baby's hands and help promote normal use of utensils. They also have a rocking base that keeps them upright and off of soiled surfaces. The two-compartment warming plate has a non-slip and non-tip base to prevent messes and enhance mealtime.
Since Princess P has been using "normal" utensils for awhile now, I was interested to see how she would do with the rounded handles on the mOmma products. But, much to my surprise, she picked them right up and began dipping into her rice that was located in one of the compartments of the warming plate. She also enjoyed watching the utensils rock when she sat them down. The only downside that I can see to the rounded utensils, is that if there is still food left on them, it will go flying when the utensil rocks upright. Also, when they are balanced on the plate, they tend to fall off.

The next day, Princess P got to try out the
mOmma Cup with Straw ($12.25). This cup is also designed with two handles and comes with a twisting lid that seals the liquid inside when not in use. At first, P had a hard time with this cup because she kept wanting to tilt it up like she does with all of her other sippy cups. But once she got the hang of it, she really seemed to enjoy it. Also, like the other mOmma products, the Cup with Straw is designed with a rocking bottom to keep it upright.

To get the cups clean, we were sent the
mOmma Wash ($8.25), a cleaning accessory designed especially for the line's cups. One of the first things I noticed when using this brush, was that the bristles were a lot softer than some of the other bottle brushes I have used in the past. Which, I really liked! The brushes custom round shape was very easy to use and allowed for a complete clean.
All of the products in the mOmma line combine form with function to transform your child's mealtime into a learning but fun experience. Also, all of the products are BPA free and phthalte-free!
