Micralite Fastfold Superlite *Review*

Micralite LogoFor the past couple of months, I have been waiting impatiently for a super special surprise to arrive at my doorstep. I was so excited for it to come, that I am ashamed to admit that I checked the companies website at least twice a week just so I could stare at it and read over its many features. Well, it arrived recently and I am happy to present to you the brand new Micralite Fastfold Superlite...
Micralite Fastfold SuperliteThe Micralite Fastfold Superlite is the newest stroller distributed in the U.S. by Scandinavian Child and joins the coveted Micralite Toro. The Fastfold Superlite has all of the features of a full-size stroller but functions like an umbrella stroller. Its compact, ergonomic design allows it to be maneuvered with one hand, making it the perfect stroller for busy moms and dads.

When I found out that I was getting the opportunity to review the Micralite Fastfold Superlite, I knew that choosing the color was going to be a battle in itself. At first, I thought the yellow would be fun to have, but at the last minute I chose basic black. Why? Because black matches all of the different colored seat liners that are available for the Fastfold Superlite!
Micralite Picture 1The Micralite Fastfold Superlite happened to arrive when C was a work and I could not wait a second longer to try out this stroller. So, I pulled out all of the pieces and actually got it together fairly quickly. After it was together, I wasted no time getting to know its features. But first, I had to figure out how to open it. I attempted to open it several times with one hand and had no success. After looking the stroller over, I found out that the fold lock kept slipping back into place and preventing me from opening the stroller. Once I finally got that worked out, I opened and closed the Fastfold Superlite several times because it was so fun!
Micralite Picture 2When fully open, the Micralite Fastfold Superlite has loads of space! Much more than I thought a small, 14 lbs upright stroller could have. The breathable, mesh seat looks so comfortable and a little futuristic. The seat features two reclining positions that can be easily switched over by sliding the handles up or down. Also included is a 5-point safety harness, removable hood with see-through window and a spacious underneath basket.

The Micralite Fastfold Superlite has almost too many wonderful features to mention. But some of my favorites are the fully adjustable handlebars, one-handed open and fold and the lockable 6" front swivel wheels. Oh yeah, and the 12" all-terrain pneumatic rear wheels are fabulous! They make going over rocky and sandy ground a breeze. The Micralite Fastfold Superlite even comes with its own air pump for the rear wheels!

Added accessories for the Micralite Fastfold Superlite include: Multi-Position Handles, Rider, Maxi-Cosi and Graco Carseat Adaptors, Seat Liners, Travel Bag and Rain Cover (all sold separately). It is also JPMA Safety Certified and comes with a five year manufacturer's warranty with product registration!

The Micralite Fastfold Superlite is definitely the perfect stroller for moms on the go. It is easy to unfold with a diaper bag on your shoulder and a wiggly baby in one hand. The hood does a good job of shielding the sun from Princess P and the seat is just too cool for words. In fact, the whole stroller is too cool! And trust me, strangers literally stop us wherever we go and comment on how cool it looks and how they've never seen a stroller like it. The Micralite Fastfold Superlite was definitely worth the wait!

Buy it: The Micralite Fastfold Superlite is available for purchase on the Scandinavian Child website for $320

A big thank you to Scandinavian Child for this review opportunity!
