Tommee Tippee Review & Giveaway

With the weather heating up it is important to stay hydrated. Luckily, that will not be a problem for Princess P. It seems like she has a sippy cup in hand at all times of the day. Great for her, not so much for the carpet. We purchased several different sippy cups in hopes that we would find one that was completely "spill-proof" but after time they began to leak just like the others. After almost giving up hope on a truly spill-proof cup, I found Tommee Tippee.
Tommee Tippee is the number-one brand of infant and toddler feeding products in Great Britain. The company's first product, the Tommee Tippee Cup, featured a rounded,weighted base that made it impossible to tip over. Since then, Tommee Tippee has advanced the baby and childcare industry, partnering with parents around the world to create products inspired by nature and scientifically designed to solve consumer needs.

In January, Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature and Explora infant and toddler feeding products became available in the United States exclusively sold at Babiesrus.com and in Babies "R" Us stores nationwide. This month, the line is being introduced at Toys "R" Us stores nationwide. Both the Closer to Nature and Explora lines are designed to help relieve common feeding anxieties and alleviate the common worries of today's busy moms.
Tommee Tippee was generous enough to send us the Explora Stage 2 Truly Spill-Proof Sippy Cups to review. When the 2-pack of cups arrived I immediately noticed the fun design and bright colors. These sippy cups feature a soft spout to protect toddler's gums and mouth and is designed for little hands to hold. The Explora Truly Spill-Proof Sippy Cup also features Advance-Flo technology that requires almost no force to drink from, yet still remains spill and leak proof. Another feature that I am in love with is the hygienic cap that is perfect for when we travel.
The valve system on the Explora Truly Spill-Proof Sippy Cup is unlike any other that I have seen before. That is because its active sensor valve is designed by a physicist to be both so sensitive that liquid flows on demand, yet not leak or spill when tipped or knocked over. The two-part valve is simple to remove and put back into place. However, I have noticed that when the clear piece and the white plastic piece are not completely pushed together, some leaking does occur. Both Princess P and I love these sippy cups and would definitely recommend to other moms who are looking for a "truly spill-proof" sippy cup.
Another wonderful line that Tommee Tippee offers is the Closer to Nature Bottle line. These bottles are inspired by nature and developed in conjunction with midwives, breastfeeding moms and babies. Closer to Nature bottles are intuitively designed for easier, more natural feeding. The bottle features a uniquely soft, super-wide nipple that naturally flexes and stretches like the breast and the natural shape lets baby latch on effortlessly, easing transitions between the breast and the bottle. The bottles are BPA and Phthalate free and are available in a variety of sizes and colors.
