Things Remembered Mother's Day Review & Giveaway

As I sit here and type this I am in complete disbelief that Mother's Day is right around the corner. Just a couple of months ago I could not wait until spring arrived and now time seems to be flying by. In fact, I didn't even realize that Mother's Day is next Sunday until this past weekend when it was mentioned at the dinner table! So, as soon as realty set in a bit of panic did too. Because I not only have my mother to shop for, I have my step-mom as well.

That night, as I thought back to all the wonderful things that they have both done for me over the years, one of my favorite gift places popped into mind, Things Remembered. Every time I pass the Things Remembered kiosk in the mall I have to stop and admire all the beautiful items offered. I also drop some not-so-subtle hits to C in hopes that I will be receiving an engraved item from Things Remembered in the near future.
Well, as luck would have it, I didn't have to wait around on C. Things Remembered very generously sent me the Personalized Sterling Miracle of Life Necklace to review. As soon as I opened the package, I was blown away by the elegance and style of the keepsake box that the necklace was placed in. I thought to myself, "If the keepsake box is this nice, what is the necklace going to look like?".
I carefully opened the box and removed the necklace from the cloth protector that it was in. I took one look at the sterling sliver necklace and a huge smile lit up my face. The Miracle of Life Necklace from Things Remembered features a beautifully detailed embracing mother and child figurine within a sparkling cut-out crystal heart. The pendent swings in front of a solid heart pendent that is engraved with the quote "My World", Princess P's name and her birth date. The back of the solid heart pendent is engraved with my initials. The charms are hung on a 18" silver chain has a 2" extender to allow for the perfect fit. I find that when I am out and about without Princess P, I like to wear the necklace close to my heart.
