Here lately I have come to realize that I get the greatest feeling out of some of the most simple things. A clean house, a balanced checkbook and a great smelling candle are just a few things at the top of my list that seem to brighten my day. While the first two things are less than fun to accomplish, the last one is a blast. I love finding new variates of candles and picking out new scents to fill our house with.

I found that this refreshing scent is a perfect match for the kitchen. The Citrus Basil candle radiates an energizing scent that makes summer seem that much closer. Another candle I think goes perfectly in the kitchen is the Illumenature Banana Nutbread soy candle. This candle offers a flavorful blend of ripe bananas, freshly ground walnuts and a hint of vanilla and brown sugar. It has found a permanent home sitting atop our stove for us to enjoy everyday.
In our living room you will find the Mango & Papaya soy candle from Illumenature Candle Company. I love that this candle has a light, yet tangy aroma that fills the entire room with a sweet smelling scent. It contains the perfect blend of juicy papayas and ripened mangos.
