Pampers Cruisers with Dry Max - Review & Giveaway

In January, I posted about news that would forever change the diaper world. Yes, I am talking about the new Pampers Cruisers with Dry Max technology. The diapers that Pampers say are 20 percent thinner than current Cruisers and are Pampers' driest diaper ever. But how well do they really work?

When Princess P was younger, we went through a ton of different diaper brands trying to find the one that worked best on her. We went up a size, down a size, bought store brand and name brand but nothing seemed to do the trick and we ended up with blow-outs daily. Finally, we went back to one of the original brands we tried and ended up finding success. To this day we still use Pampers Baby-Dry diapers and they have held up great as P has grown and become a lot more active. So when I found out about the biggest invention for the Pampers brand in last 25 years, I was a bit skeptical.
The new Pampers Cruisers with Dry Max are not scheduled to hit the store shelves until later on this month but I was given a special sneak peek and a chance to try them out before they become available. When they arrived I instantly opened the Pampers Cruisers with Dry Max package to see what the hype was all about. I pulled out one of the diapers, felt the outside, opened the diaper up and felt of the inside. Then I pulled another one out of the package and done the same thing. They seemed to be less bulky but I had to have more proof. I immediately jumped up and got out a Pampers Baby-Dry diaper to compare. It wasn't until I held the two diapers together that I could really tell a difference in thickness. So they did prove to be a bit thinner, but what about performance?

When I went to put a Pampers Cruiser Diaper with Dry Max on Princess P I noticed that they are a bit larger in size and a lot softer than the other type of diaper we have come to love. Some of the other things I noticed were that the tabs are larger and have a bit more stretch to them.

After several attempts, I finally wrangled Princess P in long enough to check her diaper and see if she had wet. I also wanted to check and see if we had any problems with leakage. Because common sense tells you that when something is thinner, the less it's going to hold. But nope! She was fine. The more we used the Pampers Cruisers with Dry Max the more I liked them. The only times that we have had trouble with them, though, is when Princess P's diaper is already saturated and she goes #2.

The best news is that the new Pampers Cruisers with Dry Max will be offered at the same price as current Cruisers. The Dry Max technology will also be available in Pampers Swaddlers for new babies later on this month as well.
