Chic Monkey Boutique Review & Giveaway

With the amount of online baby boutiques out there these days it's hard to find one that offers both quality and style at affordable prices. Countless times I have found an adorable outfit that would look great on Princess P or a fabulous diaper bag that I just had to have - until I saw the price tag. But that is the case no more thanks to the cute creations and affordable prices at Chic Monkey Boutique.
When Chic Monkey Boutique founder, Cristie Barbian, gave birth to her daughter in August of 2008 she had visions of all the trendy baby items she saw but they were too expensive. So one day she decided to start making these items for herself and they turned into an immediate hit! In December 2008, Cristie decided it was time to open a boutique and share her blankie masterpieces with moms everywhere. Then, in February of 2009, Chic Monkey Boutique was born. To this day, Cristie still lovingly hand-makes Chic Monkey Boutiques Signature Baby Blanket!

We were sent the Chic Monkey Signature Baby Blanket in the Green and Brown Paisley print to review. The blanket arrived perfectly packaged and wrapped in coordinating ribbon ready for gift giving. But, of course, Princess P caught a glimpse of me taking it out of the box and wanted it instantly. I managed to catch a picture before she unwrapped it.
As soon as Princess P felt of the minky and satin baby blanket she said "soft, soft". I just shook my head and agreed with her. Now, every time she wants the blanket she calls out "soft".
The handmade Chic Monkey Signature Baby Blanket is made of the highest quality and is super adorable. I love the colors and the pattern really makes it stand out amongst all of P's other blankets. The minky and satin blanket measures approximately 36 x 30 and is perfect for snuggling up with.
