Wee Rascals *Review & Giveaway*

The day we brought Princess P home from the hospital it was 102 degrees outside. It was stifling hot. I remember walking into our house, where our family stayed while we were in the hospital, and it was a cool 72. While it felt great to me, I was worried that P was going to freeze. I quickly changed her clothes, added socks and a hat, and put a blanket over her. (Hey, I was a first-time mom and she hated to be swaddled.) Then nighttime came and I remember what we were told at the hospital before we left, "Never put a baby to bed with a blanket." Looking back, I wish we had had a Sleep Sack from Wee Rascals to keep her warm throughout the night.
When the Wee Rascals founder had newborn twins, she quickly learned the benefits of swaddling. However, it wasn't long before the babies had outgrown the many receiving blankets she had been given as gifts. So her mother, who is a professional seamstress, came to the rescue with bigger ones. Later, when the twins were a bit older, the mother-daughter duo talked about selling the receiving blankets that had come in so handy. After talking to some girlfriends, who were also new mothers, the idea of Sleep Sacks was brought up. The team instantly knew that they could fill the void and began work on larger sleeps sacks, sleep sacks with prints and even organic sleep sacks. Today, Wee Rascals offers a variety of items specially made for baby!
For review, Wee Rascals generously sent us an Organic Sleep Sack in the Buttercup color. This adorable sleep sack is made with 100% organic cotton interlock fabric and is unbelievably soft. The interlock fabric has a touch of stretch so baby can move with ease. To allow for easy dressing, the sleep sack has openings at both shoulders and a top opening zipper and zipper tab. Each Organic Sleep Sack is double-lined so that there is 2 layers of interlock cotton to keep baby warm throughout the night. And the adorable giraffe applique adds a touch of fun! I simply cannot wait to dress baby #2 in the Wee Rascals Organic Sleep Sack.
