The first time I found Vat19 I had to browse around their entire online store to take in all of the awesomeness offered. Why? Because they are the purveyors of "Curiously Awesome" products! I mean, where else have you seen the "I Am Not a Paper Cup" cup and a Giant Gummy Bear on a Stick together in the same store? Edge Brownie Pan, where have you been all my life?Princess P is seriously into books right now. If she is awake, she is handing you a book to read. So I was ecstatic when I learned Vat19 was sending us the Tickle Monster Laughter Kit to review. This adorable boxed set comes with a hardcover copy of the Tickle Monster Book by Josie Bissett and a pair of soft, cuddly tickling gloves.
As soon as I sat down with the Tickle Monster Book Princess P came running toward me and sat in my lap. I put on the tickling gloves (complete with finger holes for easy page turning) and opened the book. Inside we found the Tickle Monster, an adorable creature from Planet Tickle. He has been sent to Earth to spread happiness and laughter. Each time I turned the page Princess P squealed with excitement and anticipation. I have to admit that the blue tickle mitts added an extra element of fun over all her other books. The illustrations are beautifully done (and printed with environmentally friendly soy inks) and the rhyming story is fun to read.
