The Porch Dream Review & Giveaway

Princess P absolutely loves books! She has a whole bookcase full and I bet that I have read each one of them a least five times. So when I was offered the chance to review The Porch Dream by Tiffany Ann Laufer I jumped at the chance. Not only because it was a book, but it was a book about a dog, her other favorite thing!

On one long, lazy summer day Bella the dog drifts off to dreamland. When she is there she saves the day by delivering the mail, going on a recycling adventure, and saving a cat from a tree. As she is dreaming of cleaning the streets with bubbles afloat she is suddenly awoke. Bella gently sighed and Colby the dog (who was with Bella in her adventures) looked her way and asked "Were we saving the day?"
Princess P enjoyed looking at the brightly colored pages and beautiful illustrations as I read Bella's adventures to her. Every time I turned the page she said "Puppy" with such cheer. Not only is this book a good read but it can help instill good values in kids like recycling and encourage them to take imaginary adventures of their own.
