Juice Beauty Review & Giveaway

I have been blessed with many things in my life but good skin has never been one of them. Since middle school I have been on a collision course with my skin, battling acne and dryness to no avail. I have tried everything from store-brand cleansers to prescription medication and nothing has kept my acne at bay. And on the rarity that something did clear up my face, it left my skin very dry and itchy.

I was introduced to Juice Beauty several months ago when I was fortunate enough to review two of their products; Organic Facial Rejuvenating Mask and Organic Facial Moisture Concentrate. While both of those were really great products, they weren't targeting my key needs. However, I loved the fact that they were made from 100% certified organic juice and gentle on my skin.
Upon browsing the Juice Beauty website I found the Organics To Clear Skin Kit. My enthusiasm grew as I read the product descriptions and ingredients, and I knew that this may be the key to clearer skin. The kit, which includes a 30 day supply of product, comes with Cleansing Gel, Green Apple Peel (Sensitive), Blemish Clearing Serum, Oil-Free Moisturizer and an eco-bamboo headband.
I was lucky enough to receive the Organics To Clean Skin Kit from Juice Beauty to review. When it arrived I was eager to get started and immediately started on the daily regimen. The Cleansing Gel contains a refreshing blend of (certified organic) antioxidant-rich cherry and lemon juices. You cleanse both in the morning and at night by massaging it into damp skin using circular motion. I love that the Cleansing Gel is in a pump, it makes washing your face very convenient when you have damp hands. It lathered up well and left my face feeling clean without drying it out.
The Green Apple Peel is designed for sensitive skin. It contains a hydroxy acid complex of (certified organic) apple, lemon and grape juices as well as raw cane sugar to exfoliate. The directions indicate that a mild, tingling sensation is normal with the Green Apple Peel. I, however, did not feel anything after 10 minutes of use. When I rinsed the peel off, my skin felt nourished and refreshed.
To combat breakouts, I spot treat with the Blemish Clearing Serum in the morning and at night. The powerful combination of (certified organic) apple, lemon and raw cane sugar is blended with salicylic acid to help clear blemishes and even out skin tone and texture. When using the Blemish Clearing Serum it can have a sticky consistency at first, but when it absorbs that texture will disappear. Directly following the Blemish Clearing serum I apply the Oil-Free Moisturizer to my face and neck. I love how lightweight and hydrating this moisturizer is. It contains a blend of (certified organic) white grape and pomegranate juices with aloe vera, vitamin antioxidants and nutrient-rich sea algae. And trust me when I say, a little goes a long way with the Oil-Free Moisturizer. The kit has definitive helped keep my acne under control without drying out my skin.
