Olive Kids Meal Time Plate Set Review & Giveaway

We call Princess P our "on-the-go eater". She doesn't like sitting in her high chair for long periods of time nor does she like sitting at the table. So we have become accustom to feeding her as she runs by. Yes, I know it is our fault for not enforcing her to stay still, but hey at least she eats good. In an effort to get our family back to the table again we are trying to make dinner fun, and thanks to the Meal Time Plate Set from Olive Kids we are doing just that.


I fell in love with Olive Kids when I first saw their Personalized Floor Pillows on and episode of Jon & Kate Plus 8. I felt that their use of bright colors and fun characters sparked imagination and creativity. Since then I have dreamed outfitting her "big girl" room in designs from Olive Kids. I got a little closer to that dream when Olive Kids sent Princess P the Meal Time Plate Set in the Tea Party design.

The Meal Time Plate Set comes with a coordinating plate and placemat that go together perfectly. The durable 10" plate is BPA-free and dishwasher safe and the placemat is sealed with laminate for easy cleaning. You can find the Meal Time Plate Set's in a variety of designs sure to please everyone.


As soon as we set the placemat and plate in front of Princess P she became intrigued by all of the colorful shapes. Completely unaware that she was actually sitting still, she began eating the food on her plate. While she doesn't know that her name is on the placemat and plate now, I am sure it will make her feel extra special when she does find out. It may even come in handy as a teaching tool when we reach that step. I love the fact that the Meal Time Plate Set keeps her attention and encourages her to sit still. I also love the fact that it is easy to clean and she can use it for years to come.
