Green Toys Review & Giveaway

If you have read my blog at all then you know I am particular about the toys Princess P plays with. I love fun, educational toys that are safe to play with and bring a smile to her face. When I heard about Green Toys and the recycled toys that they produce I was very intrigued and wanted to see them for myself.

Who would have thunk that the milk jugs we drink from everyday could be made into fun, colorful toys!? Well, that is exactly what each toy is made from at Green Toys. With a product line ranging from a Cookware and Dining Set to a very green Recycling Truck, Green Toys has something to please every child.

Each Green Toys product is made in the USA and undergoes rigorous safety testing. They contain no traces of Phthalates or BPA and are designed without any external coating, eliminating the fear of lead paint. Green Toys also sticks to their environmental mission right down to the packaging they put their toys in. All Green Toys are packaged in recycled corrugated boxes with no plastics, cellophane or twist-ties, and are 100% recyclable.

Green Toys sent us the Chef Set to review. Since Princess P loves to be in the kitchen and help me cook I knew she would fall in love with this set! And I was right, it was love at first sight! She pretends to cook in her blue stock pot and then dips me out a bite with the green ladle. After she is finished with that she cooks something up in her skillet using the coffee table as a cook top. She flips, stirs and creates imaginative dishes with the help of her green spatula, all while sampling it as she goes along. I love to watch her play with the Chef Set because I can almost see her imagination at work. I just wonder what she is cooking all the time? The Chef Set has wonderful bold colors that keep her attention and the pieces give her endless culinary possibilities. It is hard to believe that these adorable creations were once home to the milk we drink everyday.
