With C's hectic schedule we are lucky to get a quick "How was work?" in. So when it comes to romance... wait what is that again? Thank goodness EdenFantasys stepped in to help us re-discover what we were missing.

Trying to find a balance between a product I really wanted to review and one I could write about my experience with (on my Public blog) was hard! I finally settled on the Afterglow Natural Massage Candle in the Fig Leaf scent from JimmyJane.


I was impressed by the packaging and the candle itself, both looked very luxurious. In fact, if you had the candle sitting out on a table no one would ever guess that it had an ulterior motive. The Afterglow Candle comes with its very own set of matches and a body brush to spread the message oil onto the body. When I lit the candle the Fig Leaf scent was subtle but still noticeable. It does take around 20-30 minutes to have enough wax to get started, so first light the Afterglow Candle to set the mood and then it should be ready when you are. The Afterglow Candle is made of cosmetic-grade waxes and is paraffin and dye free. The lead-free wick provides a clean and efficient burn.


I was a little nervous about having hot wax poured onto my skin but much to my relief it was warm not hot. When the wax was on my skin I could really smell the intoxicating Fig Leaf scent. Very sensual and seductive. The wax is slippery at first but the more it is massaged into the skin the more it gets absorbed. And don't worry about having to light the Afterglow Candle again, the wax stays liquid in the container for about 30 minutes, so take your time. The wax absorbed completely and left my skin smelling and feeling great! I recommend this candle to anyone who needs to slow down and put a little romance back into your relationship.
