Every year as the holidays get closer my to-do-list grows longer and longer. By the time the actual holidays arrive I am begging for them to be over. But this year I am not dreading them half as bad because I have someone on my side. Let me introduce you to Alice, Alice.com that is.

Alice.com has redefined the way you shop for home essentials.

Sure you can buy clothes online. Heck, you can even buy cars online. So why are there only a handful of places to buy everyday household items? That is exactly what the talented team behind Alice.com set out to change. By adding features like instant coupons savings and free shipping, Alice has created a stress free shopping experience that everyone can enjoy.

To get started at Alice.com you first need to create an account. The account is free and you can cancel at anytime. After adding your family members and the products you use it is time to start shopping! Alice.com gave me $20 to spend and I was determined to stretch it as far as I could. For me, it was easiest to use the "Shop by room" feature, that way I could pinpoint exactly what we needed. When you click on your desired room the product page displays featured products that, in most cases, contain items with coupons as well as subcategories to make your search that much easier. When you have chosen the item simply click to add. This is where Alice.com outdoes itself! You can look at product reviews for the item, see how much it costs at other stores and it even allows you to set a certain time frame to remind you that you need to reorder that product! Talk about never running out of toilet paper again!


So what was I able to buy with $20 from Alice.com? Toothpaste (that was on sale for $1.69!), liquid fabric softener, paper towels, stain remover, dishwasher detergent, dish liquid and facial cream. That was 7 items for under $20! The best part was every item, with the exception of the facial cream, came with a coupon. I saved 2.55 and did not even have to go through the process of clipping all of those coupons! Alice also keeps a Budgeting tab of your savings per month and even brakes it down per room.


The whole shopping process was very pleasant. I was able to get everything I needed without having to take a teething toddler with me into a crowded store. So all I was left to do was wait and trust me that did not take long. Just two days later my Alice.com package arrived at my doorstep. I anxiously opened it wondering if I would find spilled dish detergent and fabric softener. Alice.com really does think of everything! All of the lids were taped and the "spillable" items were in a Ziploc bag.

Alice.com is definitely going to be one of my go-to online stores, especially around the holidays when time is scarce. You can stock up on all of the items you need for extra guests (in your p.j.'s) and not have to battle the holiday shoppers.
