Amy Ballon and Danielle Botterell founded Admiral Road Designs in 2002 as a way to express their creativity and nurture their families. Since then the Admiral Road Designs line has added many new products but the emphasis is still on the beauty of their fleece blankets for babies. Today, Amy and Danielle mix business meetings with play dates and still mange to keep up with growing children and an ever expanding business. But that is just how they want it.


Princess P was sent the Personalized Owl Baby Blanket to keep her safe and warm. When it arrived she immediately fell in love with its soft fleece and fun design. I immediately fell in love with its unique colors and the fact that it washes easily. It is the perfect size for her to cuddle up in when she watches cartoons or takes a nap. I even keep it handy for a little extra padding when she plays with her toys on the floor. She loves to poke at the owl and talk to it as it keeps her warm. I love that I can throw it in the washing machine with her other clothes and it doesn't peel! And it seems that every time I wash the blanket it gets softer!
