Kokopax Review & Giveaway

These days I have learned that it is hard to get around with a little one attached to your leg. Try cooking dinner and washing clothes with a 1 year old pulling on your pants leg so hard that they fall off! Thank goodness I am seeing some peace with my Kokopax Classic Carrier.

It all started when founder Sarah Spoor realized the benefits of using her parents vintage carriers to help with the everyday tasks of her family. Sarah and her husband could easily cook, clean and attended school activities all while being able to carry their infants. Soon the baby backpack became a necessity for everyday life. After a trip to the Northwest, Sarah came across some beautiful fabrics that motivated her to "modernize" her parents vintage carrier. The end result was a stylish, lightweight framed infant carrier that can be used anywhere.

I was the very lucky recipient of the Kokopax Classic Carrier in the Bubbles pattern. Upon first inspection I found the Classic Carrier to be very stylish and sleek. The bubbles pattern is accessorized with green trim and matching brown straps. It also has a pocket with a wooden button closure for extra detail. The lightweight Carrier weighs a mere 2.7 pounds but has a anodized aluminum frame and a 5 point safety harness for added safety. I have never purchased a backpack carrier before because I felt that they would be very uncomfortable and I would only be able to wear it for a short period of time. But with the Kokopax Classic Carrier and its padded waist support I can wear Princess P comfortably. The frame was easy to adjust to fit both me and C. Princess P also loved being in the Carrier because she could see the world from our point of view. One of the best features is the kickstand for easy loading. It makes it much easier to sit P in. The Kokopax Classic Carrier fits most babies from 6 months to 2 years (35 pounds) so you can get a lot of use out of your investment. You can find the Carrier in several different fabric patterns and it even comes in a green carry bag for added convince.
