I wanted camcorder before Princess P was born and after she arrived I wanted one even more. Almost her entire first year of life pasted by without being recorded except on our digital camera. But thank goodness JVC came to our rescue with the Everio GZ-MG630!

The Everio GZ-MG630 allows you to change from camcorder to camera with a switch of a button. It allows you to snap up to 9999 still photos at a very high quality. The snapshot mode even lets you set a self-timer to capture those all important family photos.


One of the really cool features of the GZ-MG630 is the laser touch operation. Located on the side of the viewing screen the laser touch operation lets you select options by sliding your finger up and down the laser strip. Once the option you need is highlighted simply hit the ok button to proceed. The Everio GZ-MG630 also comes with a remote control to choose your options at a distant.


The Everio makes uploading videos a breeze! Especially when you upload your videos into YouTube. After the software (which is included) is installed simply press the upload button until the process is complete. There you can edit you movies and export them into iTunes if you wish. The File Management System allows you to easily keep your movies organized in the calendar type graphical interface that displays thumbnail images of your recorded videos and stills photographs, superimposed on the date they were taken.

There are simply too many wonderful features of the JVC Everio GZ-MG630 to list! This is a very handy camcorder and camera to have since it is all in one. You don't have to worry about lugging both around in you already crowded diaper bag.
