Picaflor Kids Review & Giveaway

When it comes to clothing (especially childrens) I like to think that I know where to find the cutest outfits. Well it seems I have been sadly mistaken. I recently found Picaflor Kids and was blown away at the cuteness level of these clothes! Picaflor, which means hummingbird in Spanish, makes their clothing out of 100% Rayon. Rayon is a natural fiber that is soft and hypoallergenic. And because it is incredibly absorbent, Rayon is good for wicking away moisture.



Princess P recently received one of Picaflor's knit creations. The Dani dress in cranberry/fuchsia two-tone. This dress is literally too cute for words! The way the it drapes on her is so precious. Its unlike anything else she has (and trust me, she has an extensive wardrobe!) . There is an impeccable attention to the detailing of the neckline and the sleeves. All topped off by a keyhole opening at the top. The dress washed and dried beautifully, retaining its shape and color. Whenever she wears her Dani dress she receives so many compliments.

Founder Nancy Coronado uses a small-scale production to create Picaflor's designs in her home country of Peru. All the while supporting sustainable manufacturing through fair trade practices. And that's not all. A percentage of profits from Picaflor are directed to charities that benefit children in Peru. You can totally feel good about purchasing clothes from Picaflor.

Picaflor offers a wide range of sizing for your little ones. Available for both boys and girls, Picaflor offers Infant styles and Child styles. The Infant ranges from preemie through 18 months and the Child runs from 3 months through 9/10 years. I recently got a sneak peek at the spring/ summer 2009 collections and they are so very adorable. There are definitely some things I would love to get a hold of for Princess P!
