When we purchased our stroller last year, before I had Princess P, I didn't have much choice. Mainly because we came across a travel system that was on sale for less than $100. And this happened to be right after we purchased our home, so we were trying to save as much money as we could. Well, you know that old saying "you get what you pay for". Yeah, that is so true!

I didn't realize what I had been missing out on until I was given the amazing opportunity to review the 2008 Bumbleride Flyer Stroller in Ruby. (Lucky me, I know!) As soon as I opened the box I knew we were going to be best friends. I immediately put it together and started strolling P around the house in it. She laughed the whole time because I kept flipping the handle over and pushing her facing me. That is definitely one of my favorite features. Another feature that I love, is the adjustable handle height. This makes pushing the stroller comfortable for both me and C.
Features:
- This full size stroller is light weight, weighing a mere 19lbs.
- The Flyer features a mulit-adjustable handle height that can extend from 32-45" high.
- Bumbleride Flyer utilizes a removable rear canopy panel.
- Features a secure, one-push button harness system.
- Features a multi-adjustable footrest that is comfortable for your infant as well as your taller toddler.
- Bumbleride Flyer features front and rear wheel locking mechanism so maneuvering in either the forward or rear facing position is a breeze.
- Utilizes individual brakes on each wheel to safely secure your stroller in a parked position.
- Features a large storage basket for all of your essential baby gear.
- Bumbleride Flyer features an easy flip reversible handle so baby can face you or the world.
- Features a fully reclining backrest that can engage in a flat position for your infant.
The 2009 Flyer comes standard with Bumper Bar, Cup Holder, Head Rest, Shoulder Pads, Infant Seat Safety Bar, Safety Belt and a Rain Cover. And new for 2009 is the Carrycot. "The Bumbleride Carrycot combines the luxury of a bassinet with the ease of a baby carrier."

I have to say I am lovin' the Flyer. It turns and handles great. The colors are gender neutral. So it would be perfect for a girl or boy. And I love the fact that the rear canopy panel zips off to allow for air circulation. Perfect for those summer strolls here in the south. Or, when the panel is on, it protects not only against the sun but also against those strangers who get so anxious to touch your little one. The Flyer has a weight limit of 45lbs, so we can definitely use it for awhile (if P will stop growing up so fast!). When folded the Flyer has a locking mechanism to keep it together. The only thing that I wish I could change would be the size of the flyer when folded. Granted, it IS a Full size stroller. So I understand it's not going to be as compact as an umbrella stroller. Another great thing is that when the Infant Seat Safety Bar is in place the Flyer becomes compatible with our infant car seat! I just wish we had discovered the Flyer sooner!
A huge thank you to Bumbleride for this amazing review!

Hi, thanks for the review but I have a question,
isn't the flyer hard to push when baby is facing you?
Valentina -
No not at all! The handle just flips over and it pushes the same as it would if the baby was facing out.
Hi.. tell me please
