Mama Mio Review & Giveaway

All mamas need a little pampering sometimes. And that's exactly what Mama Mio had in mind when they created their skincare line. Well, technically it was developed to help skin elasticity. But no one said you couldn't be pampered in the process.

Mama Mio was created by three women who are beauty experts and most importantly moms. Together they have 7 children and 62 years of experience being mothers. So they know how hard motherhood can be on your skin.

I recently had the pleasure of trying out the Super-rich Body Cream and the Wonder-Full Balm. Lucky me!


Super-rich Body Cream:
An amazing cocktail of natural oils and butters working in perfect harmony to add mega-moisture to your skin, lock it in and then throw away the key. Omega-rich with Avocado Oil and Evening Primrose Oil blended with the amazing effects of Shea Butter to give you a satiny glow whilst surrounding you with a halo of our beautiful Gravida fragrance which is rich in essential oils.

This stuff is wonderful! As soon as I got it I could not wait to try it. The body cream has the perfect consistency to it. It is not runny, but it is not so thick that you can't spread it around. It leaves your skin feeling so soft and supple. And the fragrance is heavenly. It is perfect for when you just step out of the shower! The Super-rich Body Cream is also great for healing that dry winter skin.


Wonder-Full Balm:
The most useful rescue balm you will ever buy. We called it Wonder-Full Balm because you will find a million different ways to use it. Nine natural oils in a beeswax base form a solid oil that melts in contact with your skin and provides rich, intense moisture.

When it came time for me to try the Wonder-Full Balm I was a little afraid that I would not like it as much as the Super-rich Body Cream. Mainly because when I think of balms I think oily residue. But that was not the case at all! It absorbed fairly quickly but left my skin feeling very hydrated. This balm has so many different uses. You can use it on your lips, cuticles, elbows, hands and knees. It also works great on your feet too. I put it on my poor neglected feet, slipped on a pair of socks and went to bed. When I woke up the next morning my feet felt just like they had just had a pedicure! I was pleasantly surprised at just how well this stuff works. The next thing I am off to tackle with the balm are my nails.

Mama Mio is safe to use while pregnant and nursing. They have even put the "No Nasties" guarantee on the box. That basically states that Mama Mio products are paraben, petrolatum, colourant and synthetic fragrance free. How awesome is that!?

I highly recommend this for all of the "Supermamas" out there. But just like it says on the box "Mama Mio is addictive"!
