Shots!

So yesterday we had to take Princess P for two shots. I know what your thinking, why at three months? Well we decided to do a stretched out schedule over a period of several years. Instead of getting five vaccines at two months and five more at four months she got one at two months and two at three months, and the pattern continues monthly until she receives them all, while receiving the most important ones first like DTaP. This was a very heated topic in our household as I felt that some of the vaccines can cause more harm than good, and that giving so many at once was an overload to her little system. But C wanted to make sure she received all of her vaccines. So we compromised, she would receive all of her vaccines over a longer period of time. I know that this is a very heated topic for a lot of people. It is a very personal decision, and you need to be prepared for the consequences no matter what you decide. I know people that think parents are completely irresponsible if they don't get their children vaccinated and then I know people who have not given one vaccine to their child. Whatever your decision you have to know it's whats best for YOUR child.
