Christmas!

So as Christmas approaches (which I am VERY excited about) I am left wondering, what do you get a six month old? This is Princess P's first Christmas and though she will not remember it I want to make it one I will never forget. I know she will get toys and clothes from half my family and my dad will put money into her college savings plan, but what does that leave for us. I'm sure we will put some additional money in her savings plan but I also want things that she can unwrap under our tree. We planned to get her a jumperoo but my father-in-law surprised us last week and bought it for her, at least she will get to use it longer this way. My mom said "No matter what you get her she will be more interested in the box and paper to care about the toy." I guess that is true, I seem to remember building "houses" out of boxes more than I do playing with the toys I got. So I might just wrap up boxes, who knows. Any suggestions?
