A few year's ago I didn't think of myself as the mommy type. I thought I wanted to have kids but I wasn't sure. Their was still a lot I wanted to accomplish before I made that decision. But the universe had different plans for me. Almost a year later, I couldn't imagine my life without my Princess P. When it came time for me to go back to work I just couldn't go. They grow-up so fast and I didn't want to miss a thing. So when I told everyone that I was going to be a stay at home mom I got reactions that ranged from; "Are you crazy?" to "I'm so jealous!". So far, I haven't regretted my decision. Although there are times when I miss those stimulating adult conversations, I'm learning to speak Spanish thanks to Dora. Every Saturday I have at least two hours of uninterrupted "Mommy Time" which can consist of frivolous grooming, a nap, or a quick trip to the mall stroller free. And having just that little bit of time to myself really helps. So when people ask me what I do for a living, I proudly tell them I'm a Stay At Home Mom. And that's just a piece of me...
